- Feasibility Studies – By applying objective criteria we evaluate whether a project has all the necessary ingredients to make for an appropriate and sustainable business.
- Analysis and definition of demand – Finding out what is in demand in your area (geographic & field of activity), analysing future demands and determining the level of quality in infrastructure and services that a new or existing product requires to satisfy client expectations.
- Market study - Identifying the most appropriate segment or client profile for an existing product or one that you intend to develop.
- Definition of Routes – Working directly in the field as well as with maps and gps technology we apply our vast experience as guides and operators to make route proposals according to the grade of difficulty and desired clientele.
- Design of infrastructure – First we identify the most appropriate location and then a specific design and / or layout of viewing points, rest places, camping areas, refuges, docks etc.
- Risk Assessment – An essential study in the initial phases of development that need to be regularly updated. We will walk through all the objective risks of your location and product, check out all the resources available, build in the human factor of your typical client profile and your company’s capacity to guide / operate and make the necessary proposals and protocols to manage the risk inherent in your product.
- Guidelines for Promotion – We propose different methods of promoting your product. Typically this will be linked to promotional initiatives that are taking place for regional companies. We will also identify other methods of promotion such as magazine articles, more traditional commercialization chains, advertising and private events whilst working within your budget and making the best possible use of your investment in marketing.
- Guidelines for joint financing – There are many ways of joint financing projects from Pre-feasibility studies, to purchasing equipment, to promotional plans to “technological missions” for similar projects. In many cases as much as 80% of the costs involved in setting up and improving a business venture can be joint financed so these are options well worth looking into.
- Training - An appropriately skilled work force is central to the success of any project. We identify your specific needs and bring together the right people with the right experience to get you what you need.
- Protocols – Easy to use guidelines that cover all the bases to help you or your staff through those difficult but inevitable situations – emergencies, evacuations, complaints etc, that at some time come up. They are generally an integral part of risk assessment documents.
- Design support for promotional material. – We have the experience and knowledge to know what is working and the kind of message you need to send to your client base. We will make some general, orientational suggestions but more importantly put you in touch with the designers and publishers who can provide you with the right kind of material.
- Translation – The importance of high quality translation that communicates the feeling and emotion of the place and product as well as the words is often overlooked. We provide a simple “per page” translation service putting your original message into any of the following languages with a native speaking translator – Spanish, English, French, Italian.
- Logistical support for trial runs – We provide the experience and know how of guides and operators who have been there before to oversee, check into your protocols and help smooth out the unexpected and the unknown variables that can surprise first time operations. Learning by trial and error is very valid but it gets expensive and time consuming!
- Selection and use of appropriate technical equipment and clothing – Choosing the right equipment for the job, whether it is to clothe your guides, equip a kitchen or camp site or provide comfortable huts for you clients in the middle of nowhere is paramount to the image and success of your enterprise. Many years of equipping expeditions, campsites and guides has provided us with the expertise to help you make the right decisions that match your project, your budget and your client’s expectations.
- Design and implementation of logistical support and operation. – Getting camp gear to the edge of a glacier, crossing a river with a group of clients or simply having an appropriate vehicle in the right place at the right time are logistical challenges that we thrive on and do very well. Our aim is to make you look good by creating seamless and apparently effortless logistics possible.
